Job Description


  • Provide comprehensive support for BTRP activities applying best practices in project management and acquisition processes.

  • Facilitate coordination and communication with relevant parties in the governmentA&AS community and external stakeholders.

  • Assist government counterparts in defining requirements formulating end states planning to reach them and defining project success factors.

  • Support drafting and finalizing acquisitionrelated materials messaging and reports.

  • Assist in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) by preparing talking points reviewing documentation and supporting action items.

  • Handle shortfuse taskers congressional inquiries FOIA requests and emergent needs.

  • Assist in planning and fulfilling pretravel requirements supporting meetings with partner nation stakeholders and completing posttravel requirements.

  • Gain access to and become proficient in government systems like ATRIP PBMT Mercury/TRLS and CAT.

  • Document and apply best practices across all efforts using lessons learned to improve project life cycle processes.

  • Maintain organized documentation relevant to the portfolio ensuring proper record keeping.



Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Lorton VA Hybrid

  • SECRET clearance or higher.

  • Bachelor s degree (B.A. or B.S.).

  • At least 3 years of project management government acquisition or similar experience.

  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills with clients and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in project management best practices.

  • Ability to track and manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Excellent communication critical thinking and problemsolving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suites.

  • Strong writing skills for senior leaders.

  • Flexibility to work in a fastpaced environment.

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

  • Requirement to work in the office at least 23 days a week.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master s degree (M.A. or M.S.).

  • 10 years of project management government acquisition or similar experience.

  • Familiarity with Cooperative Threat Reduction particularly DTRA CTR and government acquisition processes.

  • International experience.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
