Job Description

Overview:

The IT Sales position plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth for the organization by identifying and engaging potential clients in need of IT solutions. This role is integral in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients understanding their business needs and proposing relevant IT products or services to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the IT industry.
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate IT products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Present IT solutions to potential clients through product demonstrations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the delivery of highquality solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated on IT industry trends competitors and market needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients before and after sales.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and materials.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage and track sales activities and customer data.
  • Participate in regular sales training and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing IT or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT sales or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT products services and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Driven selfmotivated and resultsoriented mindset.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fastpaced and evolving industry.
  • Certifications in sales or IT (e.g. ITIL CompTIA) is a plus.
