Job Title: General Manager
Purpose: The General Manager will be responsible for the management of design construction logistics procurement client relationship and budgets to ensure the efficiency of time quality and cost of assigned projects.
Duties & Responsibilities: Project Management:
- Prepare detailed project management and construction schedules for construction and restoration projects.
- Supervise the Project Managers to monitor construction progress including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes.
- Liaise with senior management and other stakeholders to ensure all projects are completed before schedule of excellent quality and within the budget.
- Create and implementation of systems and processes to guarantee cost and timeline efficiencies & reporting practices etc.
- Create periodic reports for various projects and prepare weekly project snapshots and action plans to Managing Director.
- Coordinate and manage Project Managers Consultants Purchase & Admin personnel Technical Teams Contractors Vendors Supervisors etc.
- Flag issues which will impact the progress and delivery of the project and find mitigation solutions to get the project back on track to Management.
- Lead regular project review meetings with Project Managers.
Inventory & Logistics Operations:
- Coordinate with all Purchasing Team Project Managers Contractors Vendors etc.
General:
- Create own and operate all systems to ensure operations run smoothly
- Handle all commercial tenders
- Source for business for the company
- Establish relationship with clients
- Work on continuously improving systems technology communication practices
vendors/contractor search and empanelment practices etc. to ensure decreasing costs highest quality and timely delivery for construction purchase inventory logistics operations maintenance.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications: B.E Civil Engineering / B. Arch. plus Additional Master in Projects management.
Management or equivalent will be preferred.
Prior work experience: Experience in managing various projects with experience in real estate residential apartments Industrial projects and magnificent large commercial buildings building maintenance.
Reporting to: HOD Managing Director
