We are currently seeking (7) highly skilled Mainframe Analysts to join our team on a contract basis with a leading financial services company.
Role: Mainframe Analyst
Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $50100/hr C2C depending on experience/expectations
Job Overview:
As a Mainframe Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing designing and implementing mainframe applications for our clients. You will work closely with our development and testing teams to ensure the successful delivery of highquality solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for mainframe technology to make a significant impact in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to gather and analyze requirements for mainframe applications
Design code and test mainframe applications using COBOL JCL and other relevant technologies
Develop and maintain technical documentation for mainframe applications
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs in existing mainframe applications
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
Stay uptodate with the latest mainframe technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our solutions
Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to provide project updates and escalate any issues or risks
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mainframe Analyst or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL JCL VSAM and DB2
Mainframe development with SAS Statistical Analysis Software
Experience with DFSort / Syncsort
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Prior experience with debugging
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
