Key Responsibilities
- The role entails designing coordinating and delivering a highly effective and efficient Physiotherapy Orthopaedic InPatient Service in close collaboration with other ward staff
- It is imperative to work closely with the team to ensure that all hospital orthopaedic patients receive timely care in accordance with departmental policies.
- The position requires the development and implementation of operational procedures that adhere to best practice standards in order to provide the highest quality of service possible.
- As the leader and coordinator of the Physiotherapy Orthopaedic InPatient team you will work closely with the Allied Therapy Manager Clinical Specialists and Seniors to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
- Your role will involve managing and overseeing the Physiotherapy Service as a key member of the Senior Physiotherapy Management team in collaboration with the Allied Therapy Manager.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold a degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates must be CORU registered.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years Physiotherapy experience. This must include significant ward based Orthopaedic experience.
- Post Graduate MSc in relevant area (Orthopaedics/MSK/Advanced Physiotherapy Practice)
- Ward based Cardiothoracic Physiotherapy and ICU experience
- Post graduate experience in MSK OP
