Travel and Expense Team Leader with German

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Travel & Expense team within our Finance Department providing both technical expertise and disciplinary guidance.
• Oversee the operational and disciplinary aspects of the dedicated Travel & Expense team ensuring service quality.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to address and resolve escalations.
• Conduct audits of travel expense reports in compliance with current travel expense regulations.
• Manage travel expense processes including review system maintenance and employee communication.
• Support daytoday operations and assist in preparing travel expense matters.
• Provide initial support to travelers handling up to 10 calls.
• Offer expert guidance to employees on tasks and inquiries.
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries and communications with the Travel Management department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent education.
• Practical experience in finance and accounting with a focus on travel expense accounting.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive customercentric approach.
• Fluent in written and spoken German.
• Proficient in Windows 10 Microsoft Office 365 MS Teams SAP ERP (FI/MM/SD) and preferably S4/HANA.
• Familiarity with Cytric is advantageous.
• Awareness of data protection and security protocols.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to implement process improvements.
• Handson mentality entrepreneurial spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated initiative organization and reliability.
