Position Overview:

As an Italian Speaking Travel Agent you will be the face of our company for Italianspeaking clients. Your primary responsibilities will include managing travel bookings providing expert advice on travel destinations resolving customer issues and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for our customers. Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Communicate with Italianspeaking customers via phone email and live chat to assist with their travel needs and inquiries.
  • Travel Planning: Offer expert advice and recommendations on travel destinations accommodations transportation options and activities to create customized travel itineraries.
  • Booking Management: Handle all aspects of travel bookings including flights hotels car rentals and tours. Ensure all bookings are accurate and meet customer expectations.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any travelrelated issues or concerns promptly and effectively ensuring a positive experience for the customer.
  • Information Provision: Provide detailed and accurate information about travel destinations company policies and services to customers.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with modifications cancellations and any special requests related to their travel plans.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and document customer feedback to help improve our services and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a smooth and efficient customer service operation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions transactions and feedback in our CRM system.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and industry regulations ensuring all interactions are conducted with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Italian both written and spoken is essential. Proficiency in English is also required.
  • Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in the travel industry or a customer service role is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • ProblemSolving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems including CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing customer needs and company policies.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a related field such as hospitality tourism or business is an advantage.
