We have two business units: M2 Ingredients which produces a diverse range of mushroombased powders for our B2B customers and our Branded business which provides healthconscious consumers for our OM Mushroom brand and canine and equine customers through Matrix Mushroom. What You Will Do

Reporting to the CFO the FP&A Manager is responsible for executing finance activities for the company. In this position you will be responsible for budgeting forecasting ROI analysis new product development forecasting/analysis supply chain data analysis trade spend analysis sales reporting and implementation skills. Additionally we are seeking candidates with strong technical skills including experience with BI tools and working with ERP/integrated systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models forecasts and budgets to support strategic planning and decisionmaking processes.
• Analyze financial performance including variance analysis trend analysis and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather data analyze trends and provide actionable insights to drive business performance and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement BI solutions including dashboards reports and data visualizations to enhance decisionmaking capabilities across the organization.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline financial reporting and analysis processes.
• Support adhoc financial analysis reporting and special projects as needed providing timely and accurate information to senior management and key stakeholders.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have CPG experience a knack for financial modeling and be comfortable collaborating with several different departments to ensure the financial success of M2 Ingredients. Moreover the ideal candidate should exhibit curiosity openness to innovation and want to be part of a rapidly growing company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis business intelligence or related roles within the natural foods/CPG industry or in investment banking specializing in CPG with retail experience.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling forecasting and budgeting with advanced knowledge of Excel and financial planning software.
• Experience with BI tools such as Solution 7 Tableau Power BI or similar platforms with the ability to design and develop impactful dashboards and reports.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and influence decisionmaking at all levels of the organization.
• Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
