IT Technical Writer

1. Collaborate with product managers engineers and sales teams to understand technical features and capabilities of products and solutions.
2. Develop and maintain technical documentation including user guides API documentation installation guides and troubleshooting guides.
3. Create persuasive white papers that articulate the value proposition of our products and solutions to prospective customers.
4. Work closely with sales teams to support presales activities including creating customized presentations proposals and demonstration scripts.
5. Conduct research on industry trends competitor offerings and customer needs to inform content development.
6. Ensure documentation and content adhere to company branding guidelines and maintain a consistent voice and style.
7. Participate in the review process for technical documentation incorporating feedback from stakeholders to improve clarity and accuracy.
8. Stay uptodate on emerging technologies and industry best practices related to technical writing and presales activities.

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
2. Proven experience as a technical writer in the IT industry with a focus on software or cloudbased solutions.
3. Demonstrated ability to create highquality technical documentation including user guides API documentation and white papers.
4. Strong understanding of presales processes and experience supporting sales teams with technical content creation.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in document authoring tools such as Microsoft Word Adobe Acrobat and Markdown.
7. Familiarity with graphic design tools and techniques for creating visually appealing presentations and diagrams is a plus.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
9. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and errorfree documentation.
10. Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
