We are currently seeking an IT Technician to support our clients in Saskatchewan.
Job Title: IT Technician
Location: Saskatchewan
Job Type: FullTime/PartTime/Contract
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support and maintain IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues managing network systems and ensuring the smooth operation of all ITrelated functions. Strong problemsolving skills and technical expertise are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to endusers for hardware software and network issues
- Install configure and maintain IT equipment including computers servers printers and other peripherals
- Manage and monitor network systems to ensure optimal performance and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Perform regular system updates backups and maintenance
- Assist in the implementation of IT policies procedures and best practices
- Document technical issues and solutions and maintain an inventory of IT equipment
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and software
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education in information technology computer science or a related field
- Previous experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and networking concepts
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problemsolving technical issues
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows macOS Linux) and office productivity software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
