We are currently seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support our clients in Saskatchewan.

Job Title: Information Technology Specialist
Location: Saskatchewan
Job Type: FullTime/PartTime/Contract

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Information Technology Specialist to oversee and support the organizations IT infrastructure and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT operations ensuring system performance and security and providing technical support to endusers. Strong technical expertise and problemsolving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure including servers workstations and network equipment
  • Monitor and ensure the security performance and reliability of IT systems
  • Provide technical support to endusers troubleshooting hardware software and network issues
  • Implement and enforce IT policies procedures and best practices
  • Assist in planning and executing IT projects including system upgrades and installations
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems configurations and procedures
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support system integration and application development
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations
  • Manage data backups and disaster recovery processes

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education in information technology computer science or a related field
  • Previous experience in an IT role with a focus on system administration network management or technical support
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems networks and security protocols
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Experience with operating systems (Windows macOS Linux) and networking technologies
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network Microsoft Certified IT Specialist) are a plus
