About the Role
A leading developer is seeking a detailoriented and organized Project Associate to join their growing construction team. In this role you will play a vital role in supporting the successful completion of a construction project by managing project documents handling administrative tasks and assisting the site team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare process and maintain documents related to all phases of the construction project including preconstruction construction and postconstruction.
- Manage document control and change control processes for all project documents.
- Assist with the review and processing of contractor submittals (e.g. shop drawings) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Coordinate with various departments within the company such as engineering and procurement to ensure smooth project execution.
- Handle administrative tasks for the site team including filing project correspondence maintaining logs and preparing reports.
- Assist with material deliveries track quantities of work completed and manage project costs (as needed).
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at the site office.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in a construction office environment or relevant field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with construction terminology and documents (a plus)
