Job Description

This is a remote position.

As a Parabroker you will play a crucial role in evaluating and analyzing income documents for clients seeking financial assistance. Your responsibilities will include reviewing income documents calculating and verifying income and expenses researching client credit history structuring deals performing risk assessments and researching banks to shortlist suitable client options. This role requires a deep understanding of financial statements business lending asset finance investment property and SMSF lending structures. Successful candidates will leverage their experience working with small business clients to effectively assess financial situations and recommend appropriate solutions.

Job Description:

  • Review and analyze income documents provided by clients to assess their financial standing and credibility.
  • Calculate and verify income and expenses accurately to determine the clients financial capacity.
  • Conduct research on client credit history to evaluate creditworthiness and assess risk.
  • Structure deals according to the clients financial situation and objectives ensuring alignment with lending policies and regulations.
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks associated with proposed deals.
  • Research various banks and financial institutions to identify suitable lending options for clients.
  • Shortlist appropriate banking options based on client needs preferences and eligibility criteria.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely processing of client applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends regulations and best practices related to business lending asset finance and investment property.


Requirements

  • Experience working with small business clients preferably in a financial or lending environment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing financial statements to assess financial health and viability.
  • Thorough understanding of business lending principles including loan structures terms and documentation requirements.
  • Familiarity with asset finance concepts including leasing hire purchase and chattel mortgage.
  • Knowledge of investment property and SMSF lending structures including understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial analysis and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelors degree in finance accounting business administration or a related field. Additional certifications or training in lending and financial analysis are advantageous.
