Who You Are
Our People & Culture team is looking for a highly driven Human Resources, Office Administrator who is located in Colombo, Sri Lanka on a temporary contract. This is an exciting and truly unique career opportunity for a passionate HR professional who truly thinks differently. You will be tasked with assisting the implementation of our HR processes, recruitment, and culture initiatives. You will support with our new employee engagement programs and several HR projects for the company. You will assist in setting up the new HRIS and recruitment systems as well as HR analytics and metrics processes. You will also take on the set up of new talent attraction strategies across the company globally. While providing admin support for HR you will also champion our new employee onboarding. This is a temporary remote role that will transition to hybrid(3 days in office).
What You Will Do

  • Recruitment:
    • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
    • Prepare recruitment materials and manage job postings alongside appropriate Talent Agencies, Social Media Networks, Internal Job Boards, and Jolera affiliated Colleges under the discretion of Director, People & Culture (HR).
    • Help with outreach sourcing and recruiting through various outlets such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Jobs in Sri Lanka and Europe.
    • Assist with promoting Company’s Reputation and Awareness
    • Knowing how to write in multiple voices to fit both brand and audience.
    • Arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders for our remote and international teams.
    • Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire)
    • Organize our employee referral process, including asking for referrals and managing bonus requests

  • Human Resources:
    • Assist in the administration of employee recognition programs.
    • Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system for Human Resources.
    • Handle all local complaints, grievance procedures and employee relations.
    • Provide support to the Human Resources Global team with administrative tasks as they are assigned.
    • Assist in implementation of new HRIS systems and other HR Platforms
    • Coordinate culture related activities such as weekly, monthly, and annual internal events in collaboration with the global HR team.
    • Manage local Ad hoc office duties and supporting the employees.

  • Employee Onboarding:
    • Assist with preparing payroll for Sri Lanka employees under the supervision of Jolera Finance.
    • Assist with new hire onboarding (e.g. preparing necessary paperwork and scheduling training).
    • Work with Jolera HQ to get approvals for new staff equipment and credentials.
    • Oversee benefits administrations and terminations.
Qualifications

  • Must reside in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of technical recruitment experience.
  • Ability to conduct technical interviews (cybersecurity, MSP, IAAS, etc.).
  • Assess, and recruit candidates for a variety of technical positions at all levels and on a global basis.
  • Take the lead and recruit, screen, and present qualified candidates for every role you work on.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
  • Track record delivering hiring results that meet business needs and expectations.
  • Consistently delivered a performance at or exceeding monthly goals for time-to-fill, diverse candidate slates and having a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Experience conducting market research independently and communicating effectively and clearly with research subjects (i.e. cold-calling, interviewing), collating findings in a clear manner across multiple functions & industries.
  • Demonstrated success identifying new candidate pools and sources.
