Cashier

We are looking to hire a Head of Human Resources for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cashier or retail sales role preferably in the fragrance cosmetics or skincare industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and multitask efficiently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and recordkeeping.
• Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded and reconciled at the end of each shift in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers answering questions and assisting with product selection as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively assist customers and promote upselling opportunities.
• Stay informed about product features benefits and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
• Count cash and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and security protocols to prevent theft and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with receiving stocking and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area and surrounding areas of the store.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or concerns that arise during the shift.
