Artsys mission is to expand the art market to support more artists and art in the world. Artsy has created the worlds largest twosided art marketplace offering more than 1 million works by 100000 artists from 4000 leading galleries fairs auction houses and institutions in more than 100 countries.
Artsy is seeking a Vetting & Research Senior Manager to join the Marketplace Integrity team. This role will have a range of responsibilities from providing due diligence and cataloging for artworks to advising on strategic decisions to ensure that Artsy is the most trusted place to buy and sell the worlds most indemand art.
Core responsibilities will include researching and cataloging artworks offered through Artsys peer to peer sales reviewing high value gallery transactions and strategically reviewing the Artsy marketplace to ensure works are accurate and compliant with our marketplace policies. You will work closely with the businessgetting teams to ensure listing quality and accuracy to balance the velocity of artwork review with ensuring proper due diligence is met and make riskbased decisions for high value sales. You will also work with our gallery partners to ensure everything from image rights to authenticity adhere to Artsys listing policies.
Artsys Marketplace Integrity team is composed of Fine Art experts who bring their knowledge of Contemporary and Modern Art to support Private Sale Advisors Auction Specialists and Gallery partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong knowledge of postwar and contemporary fine art risks surrounding highdemand artworks experience with identifying forgeries and be up to date with the latest in fine art research and cataloging standards.

The salary range for this role is $60000 $75000 annually. Artsy is committed to equitable compensation practices and your offer will depend on the relevant experience and skillset you bring to the team.
