Product Manager Partner Platform

We seek an early career Product Manager for our Partner Platform team to help hotels and restaurants leverage our marketplace to the fullest. Our teams mission is to make partners growth effortless. Hotel and Restaurant owners want to stand out on Tripadvisor and we provide them with both free and paid tools to do so. You will have the opportunity to define the vision for how we engage with hoteliers and restaurateurs build a roadmap and lead a crossfunctional team to deliver delightful experiences to our users.

You are strategic usercentric and use hypothesisdriven approaches. You have a bias for action are motivated by delivering results and are passionate about solving customer problems. You are a delightful paradox artist and mathematician a leaper and a grinder and able to think about this sprint and the next quarters roadmap simultaneously.

Job Location: Remote US with a preference for east coast OR located in the UK specifically near our London or Oxford offices.

This role is a remote position in the United States with a preference for east coast. Alternatively this could be a remote position in the UK near our London or Oxford office for occasional inoffice work. Occasional travel to company offices as necessary.

What Youll Do:

• Understand and help execute on the product strategy of our selfservice partner platform team.
• Develop requirements and specifications informed by the product strategy competitive positioning customer feedback technical feasibility and your unique insight.
• Lead crossfunctional teams throughout the software development lifecycle owning the features from conception through launch to maturity and support.
• Embrace hypothesis testing methodology: work with Data Science Analytics and Engineering to define build and launch tests internalize the learnings and iterate to find and roll out wins.
• Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure continuous twoway communication informing training and getting feedback.
• Be datadriven always keep your metrics and measurement in mind. Wherever possible use data to inform and strengthen your argument. Be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and diving into the data.

Skills & Experience:

• 35 years of consumer product management experience a quantitative educational background like EE CS Econ or an MBA is a plus.
• Strong problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills. Able to ask the right questions interpret data and trends diagnose problems and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.
• Strong usercentricity and creative skills. Able to dive into the complex design tradeoffs and evolve creative ways to unlock user value.
• Good business judgment when making decisions and understanding the relevance/impact of each decision on the strategic direction of the team and the business
• Selfmotivation autonomy and tenacity you have a track record of taking on complex and broad problem sets creating structure mobilizing teams and pushing forward through challenges. All while staying transparent and knowing when to ask for help.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels and a spectrum of functions.
• High attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fastgrowth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.
• Teamwork skills are essential because we are better together.

Candidates Based in the US:

The salary range for this role is $120000 to $160000 in the United States. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employees pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
