Job Description

Summary: Our client a Beauty/Cosmestics company is seeking a dynamic and highperforming Head of Operations (HO) to join their team at an experiential skincare brand. As the HO you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimising our endtoend operations to drive excellence efficiency and growth; ensuring seamless production efficient supply chain management and exceptional customer experiences. Your strategic vision operational expertise and leadership skills will drive our brands success and growth.


Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the operational strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives of the experiential skincare brand.

  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to crossfunctional teams fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Align operational priorities with the brand s vision and growth plans.

  • Identify market opportunities drive innovation and explore new channels or markets to expand the brands reach and revenue.


Operations Management:

  • Oversee and optimize all aspects of operations including production supply chain logistics and distribution.

  • Implement lean management principles continuous improvement methodologies and best practices to optimize operational processes.

  • Implement efficient production planning processes ensuring timely delivery of highquality skincare products while optimising costs.

  • Manage the endtoend supply chain from sourcing raw materials to delivery to customers to maximize efficiency and minimize lead times.

  • Establish operational performance metrics targets and KPIs to drive efficiency quality and customer satisfaction.


Financial Management:

  • Drive financial performance and profitability by effectively managing operational budgets controlling costs and optimising resources.

  • Conduct financial analysis forecasting and reporting to provide insights and make datadriven decisions.

  • Identify costsaving opportunities and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency without compromising quality.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead mentor and inspire a highperforming team promoting a culture of collaboration accountability and professional growth.

  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages innovation continuous learning and crossfunctional collaboration.

  • Set clear performance objectives conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team success.


Supplier and Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers manufacturers vendors and logistics partners.

  • Negotiate contracts manage vendor performance and identify strategic partnerships to support operational objectives and enhance value.

  • Collaborate with partners to ensure reliable and timely delivery of raw materials and components maintaining consistent product quality.


Quality Control and Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all skincare products meet regulatory requirements and brand standards.

  • Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations certifications and standards relevant to the skincare industry.


Change Management and Innovation:

  • Drive change management initiatives to adapt operations to evolving market dynamics consumer preferences and business needs.

  • Foster a culture of innovation encouraging the exploration and implementation of new technologies processes and best practices.

  • Identify and lead process improvement projects to streamline operations enhance productivity and optimize resource utilization.



Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration operations management supply chain management or a related field.

  • Proven track record as a Head of Operations or in a similar executive leadership role within the skincare cosmetics or beauty industry.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing endtoend operations including production supply chain logistics and distribution.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management cost optimization and financial analysis.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and developing highperforming teams.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and drive operational excellence.

  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.

  • Proven experience in driving change managing complex projects and delivering results in a fastpaced dynamic environment.



The ideal candidate for this role must have: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the skincare, beauty, hospitality or personal care industry. Strong understanding of experiential marketing principles and techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with customers. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and deliver outstanding results. In-depth knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and industry trends. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
