We are a group of indigenous companies playing in multilevel sectors such as Automobile Industrial Equipment distribution and maintenance as well as real estate. We seek to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to manage the sales and service operations in different locations within the subsidiary Briscoe Technical Products & Services Ltd. Our company is an authorized distributor of ELGi Air Compressors in Nigeria. We market sell and cater for the aftersales services of this brand.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the marketing sales and aftersales of ELGi Air Compressors and other technical products within the approved geographic areas to meet monthly and annual set targets.
Develop new customer base and strive to retain existing customers.
Ensures consistent profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning deployment implementation of effective sales strategy and management of resources.
Profitably manage the business working capital in terms of inventory debt turnover and assets.
Execute planned budget regarding stock order plan and minimum sales profit margin on equipment sales.

JOB OVERVIEW
Collaborate with the Head of Business to ensure the profitability of all the company s technical businesses (products & services) through strategic planning and management of resources in the most costeffective ways.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Business Functions
Plan and execute the marketing sales and aftersales of ELGi Air Compressors and other technical products within the approved geographic areas to meet monthly and annual set targets.
Develop new customer base and strive to retain existing customers.
Ensures consistent profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning deployment implementation of effective sales strategy and management of resources.
Profitably manage the business working capital in terms of inventory debt turnover and assets.
Provide guidance and leadership to the sales and service teams in meeting set targets and objectives.
Coordinate and ensure appropriate and effective training of sales and services teams.
Provide quality and timely reports on sales forecasts budget and business plan to the Head of Business.
Perform detailed analytical review of the forecast budget and business plan to ensure correctness completeness and accuracy of reports.
Ensures alignment of the subsidiary s sales objectives to the company s forecast budget and business plan.
Originate and recommend stock order requisition to the Business Head for approval.
Liaise with suppliers on all equipment stock order approved by the Head of Business
Ensure commitment to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across the organization.
Other Key Responsibilities
Plan and ensure that all sales and aftersales objectives are strategically aligned; support sales and service Team Leads where relevant with the process of defining managing and cascading targets.
Execute build structured selling capabilities ensuring that Sales Engineers execute the required sales process.
Measure review information on respective business performances vs targets at regular intervals act as a custodian of the data in the system.
Insight use reports and data to generate commercial insights and drive execution of business opportunities through the teams.
Inspire act as a trainer and deliver Sales/ Operations Developmental Programmes as part of regular sales/operational capability plan / induction process ensure all development coaching & feedback are embedded within the appraisal process.
Review operational records and reports to project efficient sales and technical operations and determine profitability.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
Academic Qualification
A good university degree or its equivalent in a relevant field preferably Engineering.
Postgraduate degree and /or professional certifications.
Work Experience
Minimum of 8 12 years of work experience of which at least 3 years should have been spent in a similar position at the senior managerial level.
Must have business acumen and commercial experience in managing a profitable business.

Ability to understand and interpret profit and loss statements.
