As a Senior Finance Advisor - Accounts Receivable, you will have the vital responsibility of leading and overseeing our client s Intercompany & AR team. Your role will encompass the selection and recruitment of team members, ensuring that you bring on board individuals who not only possess the requisite skills but also align with the companys values and goals.

• Academic Qualifications
  

• Bachelor s degree or higher
  
• Relevant subjects such as Business, Finance, or Accountancy
  

• Experience
  

• 2 years of experience supervising a team
  
• At least 5 years of experience working in offshore financial transactions
  
• Must have worked for a global services organization
  
• Familiarity with global payments and bank setup
  
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work appropriately
  
• Understanding of the importance of meeting SLAs
  
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and over Teams with individuals and with a wide variety of organizations
  
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to work flexibly
  
• Positive attitudes and behaviors - seeks solutions and sets standards
  
• Team player
  
• Keen interest in reporting on team performance, SLAs, and KPIs
  
• Knowledge of accounting

• Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills to an intermediate level

Team Supervision

• Select and hire employees for the Intercompany & AR team.
  
• On-board new members.
  
• Set objectives for the team and evaluate their performance.
  
• Organize regular job-related training for the team as well as other staff management duties.
  
• Manage the workload of individual team members.
  
• Ensure all routine jobs are covered while team members are off sick or on holiday.
  
• Continuous improvement of working culture reflected in improved employee engagement.
  

Intercompany Billing

• Ensure the team creates meets SLAs whilst showing flexibility to accommodate data received outside SLA.
  
• Ensure the team demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in all intercompany activities.
  
• Ensure breaches are documented and escalated as part of monthly review and reporting.
  

Intercompany Direct Debits & Cash Entries

• Ensure value dates are agreed with paying company in advance and publish rolling weekly collections forecast covering the current and next month.
  
• Ensure direct debits are set up in good time and always collected on an agreed schedule.
  

Student & Third-party AR

• Ensure the team meets invoice, USD receipts, and student refunds SLAs.
  
• Report on volumes and SLA performance on a monthly basis, including aged debt analysis.
  
• Manage and respond to expectations through stakeholder regular meetings.
