Accounting Analyst

SMArtX is seeking a driven, talented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance Team. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining all revenue accuracy and will be based in our West Palm Beach office.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Calculate monthly revenues generated from clients and corresponding revenue share amounts with key partner vendors.
• Provide monthly reporting to clients detailing applicable fees & fee collection statuses.
• Reconcile cash collections from client accounts at multiple custodians.
• Invoice clients for monthly & quarterly fees.
• Calculate payout amounts to advisors and money managers.
• Field client requests and inquiries; submit and track related support tickets.
• Assist with the development and implementation of billing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with the billing team and other departments to identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions.
• Assist the Finance department with ad hoc reporting and projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Pivot tables
  • Index/Matching
  • Sumifs
  • Nested Formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL Proficiency
• 1+ years of Finance experience
• 1+ years of Brokerage Service experience
• Experience working with large datasets
