Job Description

This is a remote position.

We're currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as customer service associates. You'll have the opportunity to work from home after training (training will be conducted in-office). This position is ideal for college students available during regular business hours, and we offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.

Position Overview:

As a Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering top-quality customer service. Under the guidance of our Customer Service Director and Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating phone and computer systems.
  • Acting as a liaison between inspectors and clients.
  • Providing exceptional customer service through various communication channels.
  • Resolving inquiries, complaints, and comments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handling email requests from customers and coordinating with inspection managers.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with client policies, HUD requirements, and guidelines.
  • Collaborating effectively with McCright colleagues, client staff, and supervisors.
  • Exercising discretion in all matters related to McCright & Associates' business operations


Requirements

Must be able to do in office training in Chattanooga, TN before work from home can begin.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Willingness to learn about the operations and procedures of a Public Housing Agency (PHA) and relevant laws.
  • Proficiency in using modern office equipment.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
  • Adaptability to various working conditions and environments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to read documents and operate office equipment (75-100%).
  • Acute hearing ability (75-100%).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods (75-100%).
  • Proficiency in performing repetitive hand motions (75-100%).

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.

Computer Requirements:

  • Must have a computer running Windows 10 or 11.
  • Minimum of 8GB of RAM.
  • Minimum speed of 10Mbps (100 MBPS preferred) Must be able to work off Ethernet, No WIFI connection.


Benefits

Work Schedule:

  • Shifts based on staffing needs within regular call center operating hours (currently between 8:00 am and 5:15 pm, Monday through Friday).
  • Shift assignments subject to change based on client requirements.
