Jewelry Production Manager (m/f/x) - full-time - Jaipur

Moon Magic is a 100% online-based jewelry boutique, bringing authentic gemstone jewelry to customers around the world.

Right now, we are in the process of building an independent Dropshipping factory into an existing factory to generate the possibility of producing jewelry on demand.

For that, we are looking for a Production Manager who is in strong collaboration with our current suppliers to ensure alignment in strategy between the demand, supply, and workflow for jewelry production.

You should have the drive for lean activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and creating metrics for increasing the performance of all scheduling and logistical activities in the plant.

Tasks

• Effectively manage production workflow, and resources to ensure service and volume goals are met on time.
• Oversee the development, implementation, execution, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and systems to support all aspects of production.
• Monitor the production process, and analyze production efficiency, lead times, and quality control metrics.
• Oversee the tactical development, execution, and maintenance of the master production schedule.
• Coordinate Moon Magic Quality Control Team to maintain quality standard agreements for raw materials and finished goods.
• Collaborate with supplier managers to determine supply needs. Control inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials.
• Oversee the development and growth through mentoring, coaching, evaluation, feedback, and positive reinforcement across multiple locations.
• Provide leadership and guidance relative to day-to-day operations and strategic thinking. Effectively coordinate the team to meet functional objectives.

Requirements

• >5 years of Materials Management experience or equivalent combination in leading and managing manufacturing/supply chain organizations
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities with cross-functional organizational effectiveness
• Advanced MS Office computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• Ideally: Possess up-to-date knowledge of the jewelry industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing business goals
• Must be able to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts to reach a consensus around common goals
