The role of the Senior FPGA Electrical Design Engineer is to support existing electronic products used in system development and to develop new electronic products as required based on customer needs and requirements.
Design Responsibilities:
- Design electronic circuits, modules, products, and systems to meet product specifications
- Perform product qualification testing and transition to manufacturing
- Develop production test procedures and manufacturing documentation
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and customer service
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead other engineers to complete design tasks
- Estimate product costs, development costs, and labor hours to complete design tasks
- Develop/monitor schedules and project activities for new product development team
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Digital and analog circuit design and analysis, including FPGA design
- RF subsystem design and analysis using various RF building blocks
- Knowledgeable of embedded firmware design
- Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and work productively to solve a variety of problems
- Ability to manage one s own time to meet budgets and schedules as well as the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively as part of ateam
- Ability to lead a small technical team to develop new products

- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (Required)
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
