Maintenance Administrator
We are looking for a Maintenance Administrator for our Logistics, haulage and all attendant services related to the movement of goods, services, and people. Who will be providing support for all the supply chain procedures that is order processing, order fulfillment and managing documentation and make sure that all the customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers expectations
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction
- Receivesrequests for service, evaluatetypes of work or assistance needed, establishworkforce priorities and dispatchappropriate personnel to achieve proper response
- Accountfor the scheduled work and maintainknowledge of the status and location of the personnel
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately
- Identify, review, or select vendors to meet project needs
- Develop and manage annual budgets for information technology projects
- Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Assist with daily execution of mechanics, purchasing, logistics and interface with related departments to provide the most efficient and effective daily execution possible while being mindful of cost.
- Assist in developing and reviewing existing metrics to gage performance of departments. Most issues will be partially or wholly related to a dept that is not logistics, maintenance, and purchasing
- Assist with personal and organizational issues
- Re-evaluateand implementprocesses to continuously improve practices
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply chain Management or relevant field
- 10 to 15 years experience as a maintenance Administrator, or a similar role
- Proficiency in Logistics software database or transport management system
- Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management
- Analytical and decisive decision maker with the ability to achieve organizational goals
- Excellent time management skills with strong ability to lead, plan, and manage change and culture
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal leadership and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong relationship building and management skills
- Must be able to travel most of the time
- Must be honest and must know his job very well
