About Company: Our client is a renowned media house in Lagos State.
Job Objective: Our client is seeking to hire an experienced and strategic HR/Admin Officer who will handle all HR and Admin related issues and also support staff in achieving their full potential.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the HR Manager to provide advisory services on issues revolving around the organization s workforce recruitment learning and development employee engagement performance management payroll benefits leave and enforcing company policies and practices as well as administrative duties.
Overall this role seeks to ensure that the HR department is provided with all the needed support to ensure its operations run smoothly
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all HR/Administration activities.
Manage recruitment and exist procedures.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Manage employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and performance management.
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and leave policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and competencies.
Conduct regular evaluations of HR policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with HR Manager to address staffing needs and support their HRrelated initiatives.
Supervise the work of employees in supporting roles in admin such as cleaning dispatch and office assistant.
General office administration.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or any related field.
3 years proven experience as an HR/Admin Officer preferably in the Media or Entertainment Industry.
CIPM certification will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Detailoriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
