Job Description
Datacenter, Hardware, Server, Network, LifeCycle, 24/7
- Experience in handling hardware part of Dell Servers, HP Servers, Network switches, Routers, etc
- The operator must be able to investigate and escalate all computer systems and monitor temperatures and alarms, contact proper on call personnel
- Experience with hardware LifeCycle process
- Trouble shoot intermediate hardware issues and report problems
- Provide Superior service in a Tier 1 Application, Server and Mobile device support environment.
- Escalate Support calls to L2 teams as needed
- Work with technical teams on hardware troubleshooting
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements
- Perform level 1 and level 2 support and resolution for hardware issues
- Walk through in the datacenter for any alarms in the Servers, Network equipment.
- Maintain and enforce Data Center security and integrity ensuring all visitors are signed in and monitored
- Working with L2 server & Network teams to fix the hardware issues
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements
- Play active role in Hardware LifeCycle
- 24X7 Support
