Private Investment Operations Analyst: Investment Manager/Hedge

Our client, a leading global investment manager focused in alternative investments has an opening for a Private Investment Operations Analyst. The firm invests in a wide range of asset classes, including significant holdings in publicly traded debt and equity securities, private debt, real estate, and private equity.

The ideal candidate for the role should possess the following characteristics and qualifications:

Undergraduate degree with 2+ years professional experience in a fast-paced operational role; real
estate or private equity investment exposure preferred but not required
Strong data analytic experience and capabilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently while at the same time work collaboratively and effectively with
personnel throughout every level of the company
A reputation with previous employers for the highest integrity and outstanding performance
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task and
manage details
Must be intellectually curious, proactive, detail oriented and service oriented with a strong sense of
operational controls

This position is part of a nine person Private & Trading Operations team and will primarily support the firms private investment group. This position offers challenging work in a dynamic environment for a highly skilled operations professional who enjoys supporting others and is looking for a stable, long-term

Essential functions of this position will include, but are not limited to:
Communicate with external operating partners to collect, track and compile documents,
disseminating to downstream users as necessary
Maintain and produce internal periodic reporting
Reconcile numerical and qualitative data
Input data into and maintain data integrity within a proprietary investment management system
Enter and facilitate processing of investment contributions and distributions
Assist with other trading/investment operations processes as needed
