Trade Republic is now going through a massive journey on maturing and shaping the culture and leadership of the future, which puts the People team in the spotlight, with heavy investment in people development and change.

As Sr People Lead for Tech, reporting to the People Director and being part of the People Leadership Team, you will partner up with our Tech and Product leaders to support them to connect business strategies with people strategies, and empower them to make better decisions everyday. Your goal is to attract, retain and develop the top Tech talent for Trade Republic.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING

• Manage and develop a team of People professionals focused in Tech composed of the Tech Recruitment Team and People Partners
• Partner with the most senior leaders of the company in Tech (Product and Engineering) enabling and coaching them to take the best people decisions for their teams and for Trade Republic
• Own and manage the People Roadmap for Tech (including OKRs and KPIs related to hiring, retention, engagement, performance, compensation, etc)
• Guide and coach leaders through and manage the organizational changes derived from the growth of the company
• Champion Trade Republic s values and principles through the lenses of the Tech teams making sure employees feel identified and connected to them on their daily lives
• Own and manage relevant People tools for tech including career development frameworks, competency matrix, job levels and compensation structure
• Participate on company-wide People and Culture initiatives ,assuring the implementation in the Tech areas

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years of experience as a People Leader, blending experience with strategic HR Business Partnership and Tech Recruitment
• Advanced leadership skills, including experience in leading and developing leaders in the People Team
• Experience within the tech ecosystem and companies. Scale-up experience will be considered a plus
• Leadership presence and the ability to stand the ground for what is right even under pressure
• Data-informed, able to analyze data, translate it into actionable steps and use it to tell a story
• Tech savvy, you know your way around technology and HR tools
• Hands-on: in Trade Republic everyone has to get their hands dirty and produce individual contributor work
• Entrepreneurship spirit: we are not a 9-5 company, and we expect people to have wellbeing through flexibility but expect people to work hard to make things happen
• We are an office first company, and as such we expect you to be present the majority of the time in our Berlin office with your stakeholders
