Job Title: Monitoring Support Engineer

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

• 3 or more years of experience in Information Systems performing application and infrastructure analysis
• AWS Certifications are preferred
• Must have Configuration and Implementation Experience with CloudWatch, RUM, Xray, Dynatrace and Thousand Eyes
• Working knowledge of application monitoring best practices
• Able to gather and document requirements in order to design and propose an application monitoring strategy.
• Experience integrating monitoring solutions using ScienceLogic, Dynatrace, or Cloud native monitoring tools with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, Azure Insights and using the ELK Stack for log monitoring.
• Experience in configuring and using tools such as AWS X-RAY, Elastic Observability, Microsoft Azure Application Insights in production application environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with infrastructure teams (network, cloud, system administration) teams to install or patch software as required.
• Proficient in independently identifying issues, resolving them and conducting a root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
• Experience with a relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostreSQL.
• Past expertise developing/maintaining applications running in the Cloud (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
