The main accountabilities for the CEO role include: driving strategic growth and operational excellence in the joint venture; ensuring compliance with KSA and international standards in hazardous waste management; maintaining and increasing the turnover; managing a workforce of 190 FTEs effectively; fostering strong relationships with international partners and local stakeholders; overseeing financial performance and governance; implementing robust Health Safety and Environmental protocols in order to maintain and improve the HSE performance of the company; monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators; and promoting innovative solutions. The CEO will be ultimately responsible for the overall success and profitability of the operations within this joint venture balancing the complexities of international partnerships with local market demands and regulatory requirements.
Detailed Job Description
- Plan direct or coordinate operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of subordinate executives and staff managers.
- Direct or coordinate with the shareholders financial or budget activities to fund operations optimize investments or increase efficiency.
- Confer with board members organization officials or staff members to discuss issues coordinate activities or resolve problems.
- Implement a strong management in term of Health Safety Environmental protection and Industrial Risks
- Direct budgets and present them to the Board of Directors for approval.
- Direct plan or implement policies objectives and activities to ensure continuing operations to maximize returns on investments and to increase productivity.
- Prepare or present reports concerning activities expenses budgets government statutes or rulings or other items affecting the project.
- Plan direct and coordinate the management of the human resources of the company.
- Implement methodologies and procedures for optimizing the design and construction in order to invest in high performance new facilities or upgrade projects.
- Produce high standards investments project files to the Board of Directors for approval.
Qualifications :
- Typically the candidate will hold a Bachelor in relevant Engineering Sciences ( Environmental Science Industrial Chemistry) and an Advanced degree in Business Administration.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role preferably in the waste management or related environmental services industry or in Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian business environment and culture.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex multistakeholder projects.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience in managing largescale operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse cultures.
- Track record of driving innovation and implementing innovative solutions.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language is a plus.
