Class A Driver - Local Routes
We are seeking an experienced Class A Heavy Haul Driver to deliver and pick up heavy duty forklifts and shunt trucks to customer locations around the Phoenix AZ area. The Driver will handle the safe operation of their vehicle and trailer, adhere to DOT regulations, and from time to time support the shop with mechanic work. $35 - $50/hour.
The successful Heavy Haul Driver will have more than 1- year of driving and delivering, preferrably heavy equipment. Must be able to provide clean driver s abstract and submit to a background check. Company Vehicle and Insurance Provided.
Daily Duties:
- Deliver and Pick-up heavy equipment
- Follow high safety standards and effectively communicate any safety hazards
- Willing and able to help in the Mechainc Shop, and able to coordinate vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of city and state roads
- Responsible for representing the company in a professional, calm, and customer friendly manner
- Able to go in and out the cab (3 feet above the ground) using 3-point contact several times a day
- Thoroughly monitor the loading and unloading process of heavy equipment
- Must be able to complete documentation, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required reports
Qualifications & Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver s license (Class A)
- Able to meet US DOT requirements
- Technical knowledge of equipment repair
SHIFTS
Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Monday - Friday
COMPENSATION
$35.00 - $50.00/Hour + OT Availability.
2-weeks PTO year 1
9 paid holidays per year
