Job Description
Class A Driver - Local Routes
The successful Heavy Haul Driver will have more than 1- year of driving and delivering, preferrably heavy equipment. Must be able to provide clean driver s abstract and submit to a background check. Company Vehicle and Insurance Provided.
- Deliver and Pick-up heavy equipment
- Follow high safety standards and effectively communicate any safety hazards
- Willing and able to help in the Mechainc Shop, and able to coordinate vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of city and state roads
- Responsible for representing the company in a professional, calm, and customer friendly manner
- Able to go in and out the cab (3 feet above the ground) using 3-point contact several times a day
- Thoroughly monitor the loading and unloading process of heavy equipment
- Must be able to complete documentation, trip reports, fuel tickets and other required reports
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver s license (Class A)
- Able to meet US DOT requirements
- Technical knowledge of equipment repair
Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Monday - Friday
COMPENSATION
$35.00 - $50.00/Hour + OT Availability.
