Staff Accountant
Bakersfield CA $/year FullTime Onsite Retail
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting new opportunity with a growing retail company located in Bakersfield looking to hire fulltime Staff Accountant to assist with the accounting operations of the company. This position is great for an active CPA or aspiring CPA (in process of taking exams) as this position would be working directly with the CFO.
This position is entirely onsite – local applicants only.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Fullcycle accounts payable processing invoices and 3way matching purchase orders
- Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts as needed
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Accurately reconcile bank statements as needed
- Assist with AR operations create customer invoices based on accounting procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Acccounting or Finance
- 3 years of experience in accounting or related field required
- Active CPA or in progress of taking CPA exams required
- A flexible cando attitude with customer orientation and strong dependability
- Reliable punctual wellorganized selfmotivator who works well alone and with others
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics software is a plus
- Experience using Excel (entry to midlevel)
