AutoCAD Designer - Piping Department

1. Drafting and Design: Utilize AutoCAD software to create accurate and detailed drawings of piping systems including layouts schematics and isometric views.

   
   

2. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings.

   
   

3. Review and Modification: Review drawings for accuracy and completeness making revisions and modifications as necessary to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

   
   

4. Documentation: Maintain organized documentation of drawings revisions and project files for reference and future use.

   
   

5. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure compliance with company standards client requirements and regulatory guidelines.

   
   

6. Communication: Effectively communicate with team members to address design issues provide updates on project progress and coordinate workflow within the department.

   
   

7. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends software updates and best practices in AutoCAD design to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.

   
   

Requirements

1. Bachelor s degree or equivalent certification in Engineering Drafting or related field preferred.

   
   

2. Experience: Proven experience working as an AutoCAD Designer with a focus on piping systems design preferred. Experience in the oil & gas petrochemical or manufacturing industries is a plus.
