Job Description
Job Title: Land Surveyor
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform setting out tasks for surveying activities in line with project requirements.
- Conduct land surveys for various sectors including construction property cartography offshore engineering landscaping utilities and infrastructure.
- Utilize GPS total stations and other surveying instruments to produce accurate maps and measurements.
- yze spatial data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide accurate information for decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with engineers architects and other professionals to ensure precise survey results align with project objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports drawings and maps based on survey data and share crucial information with project managers.
- Ensure that all surveying activities comply with local regulations safety standards and company protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying Geomatics or a related field.
- Certification in surveying tools and technologies (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in conducting land and site surveys for construction or related industries.
Ss Required:
- Proficiency in the use of modern surveying tools (e.g. GPS total stations theodolites).
- Strong knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the ability to yze data.
- Excellent mathematical spatial and ytical ss.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans blueprints and maps.
- Strong communication ss for reporting and collaborating with management and other departments.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in challenging environments.
Additional Criteria:
- Experience in handling largescale infrastructure or construction projects will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in different sectors such as offshore engineering utilities and property development.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and local regulations related to surveying.
