Logistics Sr.specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of supply chain daily operations by liaising with relevant departments involved in fulfilling demand including Importing & Exporting customs clearance and logistics & warehouse flows.

In this role you will develop and maintain business partnerships with forwarders logistics vendors and 3rd party logistic service provider and negotiate contracts to improve service level as well as maximize cost efficiency. This position is also responsible for coordinating with 3PL warehouse on inbound and outbound operation.

What will you be doing

1. Import/Export/local distribution Management

1. Ensure appropriateness of import and export transactions in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations correct tariff classification
2. Ensure appropriateness of arrange the export shipment schedule(Air/Ocean) according to each contracted incoterms
3. Ensure that all required import/export declaration permission or other documentation is secured as required
4. Ensure the correct payment of duty bonded warehouse expense transportation cost and other applicable charges in a timely manner
5. Develop and manage 3rd party service providers including customs agent external 3PL warehouse transportation vendors (i.e. courier forwarder trucker) as per contract and aligned with a corporate policy
6. Manage customs clearance in conjunction with customs agent
7. Manage Customer complaint process of all freight and damage claims

2. 3PL Warehouse management

1. Manage and develop efficiency of 3PL warehouse for supporting Plant Supply chain team s inventory control and resolve the day to day issues
2. Support daily inbound and outbound operation process and make sure the shipping condition and storage condition to align with company standard

3. Other Works

1. Data analysis & reporting
2. Continuous improvement of KPI and internal processes
3. Other duties as assigned by the management
4. Provide backup support to team members in case of any absences or need

Requirements :

• 10 years of experience in Logistics and Supply chain especially in the manufacturing business field.
• Handson experience of customs clearance forwarder and 3PL controls.
• Minimum bachelor s degree in international trade or Business administration or equivalent work experience
• Able to work under the initiative be proactive and good communication.
• Understanding regulations all local / international laws and exact tariff for dangerous good transportation.

Desired Qualification(Preferred)

• Experience at Multinational company and/or diverse culture environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with SAP (WM or SD module)
