Later when he was improving his skills he was influenced by the Artificial Intelligence (AI) of Shogi and it was the beginning of the unknown possibilities.

We are developing products based on AI x mobile which is a combination of the industryleading AI developed by our engineers that have won against professional Shogi players and mobile which is the most accessible device to people all over the world.

In the future we will continue research and development of machine learning such as deep learning and business applications centered on our original AI and create a paradigm shift in each industry with the Artificial Intelligence Revolution. We want to do something interesting and surprising while maximizing the power of technology.

Roles and Responsibility

As a specialist in the AI business we are promoting the AI revolution by introducing AI solutions to various industries and creating new value. We drive projects by designing and planning from a technical perspective how to approach industries with AI while identifying issues in the world.

You will be a part of the team that develops analytical algorithms for prediction and optimization big data analysis and algorithms using machine learning such as deep learning and adapts them to various industries such as construction and finance. The topclass engineers in the industry belong to our team and you can work with one team with a high degree of freedom.

Specific duties

• Solving business problems
• Designing appropriate issues that contribute to value creation
• Discover and provide facts and insights based on data
• Data analysis based on machine learning and other general data analysis skills
• Data analysis and PoC project management

In addition to BtoB you will also be responsible for leading BtoC projects that utilize Shogi Wars own data.

Minimum Requirements

Business mindset

• Strong curiosity and passion for datadriven business problemsolving and value creation

Education

• Familiarity with the basic theoretical framework of mathematics and statistics in general

Experience

• Able to design appropriate business arguments.
• Experience in analytical work related to mathematical and statistical modeling
• Design dashboards and charts that are easy for users to understand.
• Able to help improve sequential work and provide new insights
• Experience in managing data analysis and PoC projects for enterprise customers

Preferred Requirements

• Educated in a cloud environment and data infrastructure organization and construction including building and managing data lakes and data warehouses
• Able to perform advanced analytical design and analytical tasks using knowledge of Bayesian statistics and statistical causal inference
• Extensive business background and skilled in using statistical methods to improve decisionmaking and quantify and measure the operational impact
• Experience in designing MLOps and DevOps workflows and implementing machine learning models in business operations.
• Experience in team development (version control by Git etc. CI operation code review)
• Experience working on AI development projects.
• High scores and top results in data analysis and AI development competitions such as Kaggle
• Has a Ph.D. and experience working in a research institute
• Proven track record in international publications (IJCAI AAAI NeurIPS ICML KDD etc.) related to AI and data science

Annual Salary:JPY Determined based on experience and skills

Bonus paid twice a year (August and February)

Hours: 10:00 19:00 (1hour break included)

8 hour work days

Remote work and flextime system available with prior approval (core time from 11:00 to 15:00)

As this is a discretionary work system it is assumed the employee will work 8 hours a day.

If as a result of the interview and upon mutual consent a timecontrolled labor system is employed a fixed overtime rate of 2045 hours will be paid.

2 days off per week (Sat. and Sun.) national holidays yearend and New Year holidays

Special leave: sickness and injury leave congratulation or condolence leave

Annual paid leave: 13 to 23 days granted after six months of employment

Probation: 3 months
