The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join the Sales Team as a Field Sales Representative. The ideal individual will possess a unique combination of scientific education and experience with microplate and imaging instrumentation. He or she will be outgoing, confident, self-motivated, and results-oriented with excellent communication and presentation skills. This individual will work well independently but will appreciate being part of a dynamic, growing sales team.
Primary responsibilities of the Sales Representative role include:
Requirements
Superior candidates will possess a BS, MS or PhD in Cell biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field plus two years or more advanced academic or industrial experience using plate readers and microplate-based imaging systems, preferably in an HCS or HTS lab setting. Requirements include strong knowledge of microplate readers and related assays (ELISA, FP, HTRF, FRET, AlphaScreen) and experience with widefield and/or confocal microscopy. Superior candidates will also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including comfort with public speaking, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
