Ensure all the Sales & Marketing Department access timely and accurate Marketing information for timely and accurate business decisions.
Coordinate with Accounting and Finance to have all the marketing/sales Business performance reports (Daily, Weekly & Monthly) are delivered in good time and are accurate to facilitate informed business planning.
Provide time Business Reporting process for Sales & Marketing Department.
Consistently monitor the Sales & marketing OPEX reports to evaluate the position of actual versus budgeted positions.
Ensure accurate monthly MBR reports/comments are forwarded to the corporate office. This is to be achieved before the set deadlines.
Part of the team that facilitates the success of the quarterly Departmental Meeting, especially coordination of presentation by the TMs.
Closely monitor competitor activities - Majors & Independents – for both the fuel and non-fuel business.
Consistently evaluate the Company’s marketing strategy to ensure alignment with Consumer behavior.
Review and ascertain viability of proposed business projects by using the prescribed investment evaluation tools e.g. Discounted Cash Flow, Net Present Value, and Break-Even analysis.
Identify and evaluate the existing site trade area dynamics: working closely with TMs to understand factors that affect Company operations.
Identify and evaluate potential New to Industry (NTI) sites as well as viable flag switch options.
Steward the Airtime sales program – key focus being incremental income through commission earned from the dealer’s sales.
Secondary contact for the money transfer business. Ensure smooth flow of money transfer business together with the primary contact.
Steward Customer service experience programs at retail sites.
Steward the Courier Income growth in our retail site objective being to consistently grow APC revenue streams for the company.
Act as the Sales & Marketing departments internal controls contact. Function ensures running of the business within approved policies and controls.
Job Requirements
A suitable university degree with a business major.
A post graduate qualification in Marketing.
At least 4 years post qualification experience in similar position and/or an analytical environment. Post Graduate Qualification and/or professional qualification in Accounting will be an added advantage
