Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Oversee daily operations of the Finance department including financial planning budget management and analysis of monthly operating results.
- Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.
- Prepare annual reports financial forecasts and analyses for contract negotiations and investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
- Establish and implement departmental goals objectives policies and operating procedures.
- Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues and direct financial audits.
- Conduct regular checks on financial procedures across all operational areas.
Team Management
- Recruit develop and manage finance team members including performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
- Collaborate with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring training and development of team members.
- Conduct monthly departmental meetings to facilitate communication and address issues.
Other Responsibilities
- Attend required briefings meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Be aware of hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications :
Qualifications for Director of Finance:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance at a 5 stars international chain hotel.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance roles including 3 years in financial planning and management.
- Strong skills in strategic planning process improvement and financial analysis.
- Experience in budgeting auditing and managing corporate finance processes.
- Excellent communication in English (spoken and written).
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment.
