Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Oversee daily operations of the Finance department including financial planning budget management and analysis of monthly operating results.
  • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.
  • Prepare annual reports financial forecasts and analyses for contract negotiations and investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Establish and implement departmental goals objectives policies and operating procedures.
  • Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues and direct financial audits.
  • Conduct regular checks on financial procedures across all operational areas.

Team Management

  • Recruit develop and manage finance team members including performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
  • Collaborate with Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate hiring training and development of team members.
  • Conduct monthly departmental meetings to facilitate communication and address issues.

Other Responsibilities

  • Attend required briefings meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Be aware of hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications :

Qualifications for Director of Finance:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Director of Finance at a 5 stars international chain hotel.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting/ Finance roles including 3 years in financial planning and management.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning process improvement and financial analysis.
  • Experience in budgeting auditing and managing corporate finance processes.
  • Excellent communication in English (spoken and written).
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure meet deadlines and adapt to a dynamic environment.
