Location: Remote (within Canada)
Employment Type: FullTime Contract
Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for driving business process improvements and system integration Were seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and support a largescale SAP implementation project. In this role youll collaborate closely with stakeholders business units and technical teams to analyze document and optimize business processes while ensuring seamless integration with SAP solutions.
This is a REMOTE contact with extensions up to 2 years.
What Youll Do:
- Process Design & Documentation: Capture and represent detailed business process requirements ensuring clear process design and documentation.
- Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between current business processes and SAP system capabilities providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Testing & Support: Execute unit testing for system configurations custom development and support testing efforts for data conversion security and batch processing.
- Solution Design: Participate in solution design scoping and planning workshops ensuring that all business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and execute UAT test scripts working closely with endusers to validate business process solutions.
- Data Integration: Provide input on data conversion strategies master data inputs and system integration requirements with thirdparty or external systems.
- PostImplementation Support: Offer handson support to endusers after the system goes live to ensure smooth transition and adoption.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements ensuring they are clearly communicated and met by the SAP system.
- Change Management: Provide feedback and support for change management initiatives including training material development role definitions and communication plans.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Commerce or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 3 years conducting and documenting process reengineering.
- Minimum of 2 years writing use cases and functional requirements.
- Skills:
- Strong communication consulting and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business requirements.
- Proven ability to lead process discovery and documentation sessions with stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Accreditation from a Business Analyst professional association (such as IIBA).
- Knowledge of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
- Experience working on SAP projects.
- Previous experience in the public sector.
