Job Description

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Plan & implement capital improvement projects.
  • SAP Routings and Capacity Studies.
  • Shop floor support on daily problems.
  • Support the quoting process within the Operations team.
  • Ensure Continuous Improvement on new processes using lessons learned to ensure Plant goals.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment problems.
  • Design machines controls fixtures tooling gauging etc.
  • Write and troubleshoot of PLC and HMI programs.
  • Guide suppliers and tools and fixture design.
  • Assure fixtures and tools follow guidelines quality and safety requirements.
  • Support on Industry 4.0 implementation.
  • Write documentation for manufacturing operations (Work Instructions SOPs Control Plans PFMEAs)
  • Design and discuss the area/plant layout.
  • Assists with technical questions from Vendor to support the Purchase Department
  • Lead quotations of customerowned tooling both acquisition and modifications in coordination with Purchasing.

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelors degree in engineering.
  • 5 years manufacturing/ engineering experience.
  • Advanced Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and HMI programming experience.
  • FMEA knowledge.
  • Advanced problemsolving skills.
  • Visa sponsorship for Continental Employees only

ADDITIONAL WAY TO STAND OUT

  • 5 years of manufacturing/engineering experience.
  • Rubber extrusion and vulcanization experience.
