Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for a range of production test solutions used in multiple sites across the world. Each test must validate the specific customer requirements from a massive range of mechanical electrical and software variations. Most of the tests are controlled by executable programs created in NI LabVIEW. The senior manufacturing engineer will oversee the development of all existing and new test applications ensuring the quality of finished products leaving our factories around the world.
Duties:
- Manage sustainment and improvement of several existing test applications.
- Manage the creation of new test applications required for new products.
- Be accountable for source code control testing and release.
- Set tasks and monitor progress of a small team of test engineers.
- Provide training and support for test engineers.
- Participate in FMEAs and define requirements for product test solutions.
- Support production sites in the event of test equipment failure.
Requirements:
- Understanding of creating test programs in NI LabVIEW or similar software packages.
- Experience managing projects or small teams.
- Familiar with project management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with SQL databases.
