We are looking for a committed and experienced manager for our maintenance department who can master challenging situations with technical knowhow and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the maintenance team monitor KPIs and ensure the implementation of standard company tools and methodologies
- Implement corrective and preventive maintenance processes to ensure equipment reliability and prevent recurring breakdowns
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve the vision of zero breakdowns identify system gaps and coordinate pilot implementations of new technologies
- Prepare and manage yearly maintenance budgets ensuring accurate forecasts and adherence to financial plans
- Optimize spare part stock levels by regularly reviewing MRP settings and tracking warehouse performance to ensure efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company and local safety regulations and enforce Plant Safety Rules for all maintenance activities
- Manage relationships with external maintenance suppliers and develop local suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department
Qualifications :
- Academic degree in a technical/engineering subject or a comparable qualification
- Several years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry including both heavy and precision engineering
- Participation in machine improvement refurbishment upgrade or installation projects
- First management experience in a technical organization
- Very good handling with MS Office software
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Regular international contacts through projects or suppliers
- Good communication and networking skills
