Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Managerial Leader to oversee the Engineering Mining Infrastructure Maintenance division. This role requires a highly motivated individual to lead implement and manage best practice systems for maintaining key infrastructure including pumping systems electrical reticulation and conveyor systems up to ROM stockpile ensuring they are installed maintained and operated safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Coordinate and Manage Engineering Division: Design and establish engineering structures plans and governance frameworks for the effective delivery of infrastructure engineering.
- Develop and Implement Systems: Oversee the construction installation and commissioning of power reticulation systems pumping systems conveyor systems and dams. Ensure systems are designed to prevent flooding and control water in mining areas.
- Maintenance & Business Continuity: Implement and maintain asset management strategies to ensure reliable operations of installed systems. Prioritize maintenance scheduling and align it with strategic business objectives.
- Subject Matter Expert: Provide technical guidance training and solutions to ensure safe and effective operations. Interpret and translate regulations into actionable programs and policies.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships across functional areas and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including OEMs and key suppliers to optimize business value.
- People Leadership: Build manage and coach a highperforming team. Drive skills development and ensure resources are properly allocated for business continuity.
- Financial Management: Forecast and manage the budget for the engineering division controlling costs and ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Support Transformation: Drive the transformation agenda ensuring the integration of automation digitization and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualification: N6 or equivalent in Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
- Experience: 5 years managerial experience and 10 years practical engineering experience.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge in engineering design and exposure to the mining industry.
- Skills: Ability to solve complex problems demonstrate leadership and manage projects effectively. Excellent communication conflict management and strategic planning skills.
- Fluency in French and English preferred. Swahili is advantageous

- The success of this role directly impacts production and business continuity. The individual will have the authority to manage budgets procure equipment and oversee critical infrastructure systems.
