Job Description
Performs financial analysis for purchasing. Forecasts requirements issues periodic reports on trends and negotiates pricing discounts and contracts. Purchases materials equipment supplies services and commodity products. Evaluates bids and selects and recommends suppliers. Negotiates price delivery quality and service. Follows up on all awards through completion of order. Negotiates and settles with suppliers regarding damage claims rejections and losses return of materials overshipments cancellations and engineering changes. Evaluates suppliers and rates them as to production capability performance and delivery.
Qualifications :
A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and 56 years related experience to be proficient in the above areas or an MBA and 35 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education.
