As the Commercial Team Lead (Food) you will be required to:
- Lead develop and inspire a highperforming account management team to drive deep engagement with existing and potential new F&B merchants.
- Work with the team to achieve team performance as measured by deliveries GMV and revenue as well as forming stronger relationships with partners through collaboration in other Grab verticals such as GrabPay GrabAds and GrabExpress.
- Serve as a crossfunctional leader and collaborate with different teams to deliver solutions and initiatives tailored to merchants pain points and growth objectives.
This role will report to the Head Commercial Managed Accounts (Food) and report onsite to Grab One North office.
The daytoday activities:
- Work with the Head of Commercial (Food) on business development strategy.
- Identify gaps and unlock opportunities with our F&B merchants to drive market share and revenue growth.
- Motivate the team to meet or exceed targets specific to GMV revenue and successfully execute crossfunctional initiatives.
- Support the development of strategic merchant relationships to ensure the partner is engaged and growing on the platform.
- Strategize identify areas of improvement and grow the portfolio based on data analytics and best practices.
- Continuously engage our F&B merchants and listen to their needs collect and address feedback/ concerns put forward.
- Monitor and report team performance and impact to leadership on a regular basis.
- Develop coach and mentor the team to enable them to excel and grow within their roles.
- Build strong crossfunctional working relationships with our Business Operations and Marketing teams to ensure a best in class merchant experience.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business / Management or equivalent.
- Passionate about people leadership with proven experience leading/hiring/building high performing teams.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in account management business development partnerships or equivalent role and with at least 2 years leading a team.
- Experience in holding a target and being accountable for team attainment. Able to lead and mentor both high and low performers.
- Able to manage conversations with Clevel positions and senior stakeholders
- Experience in F&B industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. Strong proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of personalities and teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the keen ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Comfortable with managing data and able to perform analysis (e.g. to solve business problems).
- Have a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment.
