WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

About the Position:

The Warehouse Associate is a fulltime employee based in High Point North Carolina. This person is a professional who is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. The warehouse associate also ensures that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and loss prevention. He/She will also help in the assembly and packaging of products related to orders and ensure proper shipment of goods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help support shipping specialist and assembly team in processing packaging and shipping orders accurately
  • Organize stocks effectively manage inventory and create necessary reports
  • Inspect products for defects and damages
  • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Check verify and fill customer invoices
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
  • Receive verify stage and stock incoming material either independently or as part of a team depending on order size and daily staffing needs
  • Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions insufficiencies or necessary repairs through the relevant channels
  • Provide dependable shiftlong coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible
  • Monitor all incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Organize warehouse space
  • Other tasks that may be assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of inventory control experience required
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience/loader and forklift experience
  • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Good time management analytical and critical thinking skills
