Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Outreach:
o Prospect new business opportunities through outbound calls emails and social media outreach.
o Identify and research potential clients for our portfolio companies and focused on the B2B approach creating tailored outreach strategies for each company.
o Work with internal teams and portfolio companies to refine target audiences and sales strategies.
Qualify Leads:
o Engage with leads to understand their needs pain points and business objectives.
o Qualify and prioritise inbound and outbound leads to pass along to the teams of the portfolio companies.
Relationship Building:
o Build rapport and develop relationships with decisionmakers at various levels of an organisation.
o Cultivate trust through empathy and active listening ensuring that potential clients feel understood and valued.
Collaborate with Interdepartmental Teams:
o Work closely with the other teams within portfolio companies to align outreach strategies and refine sales processes.
o Provide feedback and insights from your conversations with prospects to help shape product positioning and messaging.
Pipeline Management:
o Track outreach and lead interactions in CRM systems ensuring accurate records of leads and followup actions.
o Maintain an organised pipeline of qualified leads and progress through the stages of the sales funnel.
Continuous Learning:
o Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure that sales strategies are innovative and effective.
o Participate in regular team meetings share best practices and contribute to a culture of learning and growth.
Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
o Proven experience in sales business development representative or in a similar sales role (in B2B sales). UK / EU experience is essential.
o Experience with cold calling email outreach and using social media for prospecting.
o Further experience in Sales Strategy and Customer Success would be advantageous.
Skills:
o Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt your approach depending on the audience.
o Ability to engage and influence key decisionmakers in a variety of industries.
o Highly organised with the ability to manage a high volume of leads and outreach efforts.
o Demonstrated ability to think critically and problemsolve in a fastpaced environment.
o Ability to think laterally and deal with high levels of complexity.
